Security & safety
Connect People, Security Systems and Incident Response
Security incidents are facility incidents. Handling them in the same platform means one record, one escalation path and one set of evidence.
The business problem
Security operates in a separate world
Guards keep a paper occurrence book. CCTV footage is exported on request. Access events sit in a controller log. When an incident needs investigating, evidence is assembled from three sources with three clocks, and the facilities record often shows nothing at all.
The IntelliGrid approach
Security events as operational incidents
Patrols, occurrences, alarms and access events are recorded in the platform, with the same ownership, escalation and evidence discipline as any other incident. Investigation then works from one timeline rather than a reconstruction.
Privacy and compliance
Biometric and video analytics are deployed only where lawful and contracted
Video analytics and any facial recognition capability are implemented subject to applicable privacy law, including Malaysian PDPA obligations and equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions, and only where the building owner has established a lawful basis, notice and retention policy.
Deployment scope, retention periods and access rights are agreed contractually before any such capability is enabled. Privacy enquiries may be directed to privacy@intelligrid.asia.
